Problem Solving Maths Book 1 represent a response to current trends and emphasis which is being placed on the development of problem solving skills in students.

The book is divided into sections, each focusing on a particular aspect of mathematical problem solving. A brief summary of the skill being covered is given at the beginning of each section. Within each section a number of similar activities have been provided so that skills can be introduced and consolidated.
